Camping 101

While this is primitive camping, we absolutely want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. So, here’s what we do to make you feel a little more at home.

Campsites at Valley View Campgrounds

Primitive Camping

Most of our camping onsite is primitive (dry) camping. We mow this field like a lawn for 2 months prior to campers arrival. This is to make sure these old fields feel as cushiony as possible when you throw down your tent.

Super Sites

Our Super Sites are full hook up providing 50A electric and county water connections. Sites are appropriately 20x50 ft. Super Sites are in two spots: Hilltop inside Main Campground and Route 40 Hilltop inside Main Campground.

Electric Only

Our Electric Only Sites provide 30A electric. These sites are located inside the Main Campground.

Campsites at West Pike Inn Campgrounds

Front Yard Full Service

Our West Pike Inn Front Yard Spots provide electric hookup and water fill-up full service.

Each spot comes with a weekend parking pass for BMRF.

• Ice Trucks/Tractors travel to your campsite.

• If you need your camper filled, make sure to flag down the water man! We have a couple.

• We have several food vendors onsite serving everything from breakfast to burgers, fries, and pizza.

• We have open air cooling stations for you to get washed up or cooled down. These are located near registration.

• With thousands of people on one farm, sometimes you need a little order. We have an outstanding security staff onsite 24/7 to help you out anytime.

• Porta Johns (could be worse, folks!)

We’ll give you trash bags but you’ve got to use them! If you leave your trash out in the morning, our brave staff will pick it up. By all means, please use this service.

• All of our campgrounds and parking lots are BYOB and the only restriction is “No Glass.” This is for the safety of all our guests now and in the future, and any animals that roam these fields in the off season.

Things to Know for All Campers...

You must have a Blame My Roots Weekend Concert Wristband to register and check in for your campsite
Camping rates are for 2 people, 4 additional passes can be purchased
Campers will be allowed to keep their 1 “extra vehicle” at their site for an additional fee. Max of 2 motorized vehicles per site.
Each campsite is state regulated and allows only 2 tents and up to 6 people.
Reservations are highly encouraged and guarantee that you get a site, but not specific one.
Campsites are non-refundable
